An ASME air receiver is a certified pressure vessel used to store compressed air, helping to stabilize pressure, meet peak demand, and improve overall system efficiency. The ASME certification (from the American Society of Mechanical Engineers) signifies that the receiver’s design, fabrication, assembly, and inspection comply with stringent engineering and safety standards for pressure vessels. This ensures the receiver is safe and reliable for both industrial and commercial applications. To maintain compliance with ASME code  air receivers must be regularly drained, inspected, and equipped with functional safety valves.
